Descriptions, Decisions by Xavier
Today we decided our blog's amazing description (as you can see) and even had a small debate thinking what description was best. We finally decided to combine the top two ideas that we're being debated and as you can see we finally got a great description!
International Dot Day By Vaish
International Dot Day was such a hit in the E-pod of our school. We made hats, sculptures, and so much more. Mrs. Nusbaum's class even did face painting. I think all of the KGA classes had a great time, because I know I did. There was a variety of things going on, and every thing was so free.

My Dot Day Blog by Sachit
Today was the best day in school. It was international dot day. We had many fun centers. One of them was water colors were we painted dots. Another one of the centers was the sculpture center. This center was one of my favorite centers. In fact I was trying to build the World Trade Center out of Dots (the name of a candy) and toothpicks. But my design kept on breaking. So I did not leave that center. I just wanted to keep on building and building and building the structure. And finally at the end I hadn’t gotten anything built. But I had tried and tried and tried and tried to get some kind of sculpture built. But It was really a nice center I loved it. So that is basically all my dot day was.

Bad Math, Bad Shopping by X
People shopping sometimes find that they found a really bad deal. Today in school we all read an article on this subject of bad deals. Our math problem was to find which is better, a 24 oz. tub of peanut butter for 4 dollars or a 36 oz. tub of peanut butter for 8 dollars.
The way we solved the problem was we tried to find the LCM of 24 and 36. We first did the first 4 multiples of 24: 24 (for 4 dollars), 48 (for 8 dollars), 72 (for 12 dollars), and 96 (for 16 dollars). We next did the first 4 multiples of 36: 36 (for 8 dollars), 72 (for 16 dollars), 108 (for 24 dollars), and 144 (for 32 dollars). We saw that 72 was the LCM of 24 and 36.We then found that the 72 (24) oz. tub of peanut butter was 4 dollars less than the 72 (36) oz. tub of peanut butter.

International Dot Day by Aspen
International Dot Day was today! It was so fun. We did Swirl Art, Drawing Apps on the iPads, Bubble Art, "Ish" Drawings, Torn Paper Crafts, Dot Paintings, and Dot (candy) Sculptures! We also got to play games on the iPads, and we had a ton of fun with each other.
Shopping for Peanut Butter by Evan
So this morning we were finding out which can of peanut
butter is better to get. 24 oz. witch is $4 or 36 ounces witch is $8. One
person said that 36 oz. is better to get because it will last longer. All of
the other students said 24 oz. is better because it is cheaper, weights less,
smaller container, and if you double 24 oz. and 24 oz. you will get 48 oz. for
$8. So the people who chose 24 oz. were right. An explanation voting for 24 oz. convinced everyone in the
class including the teacher and the person who said 36 ounces that 24 oz. was the best choice.
