Hello and first of all this blog will tell you , yes, what the buistbunch have been doing and we HAVE been doing design squad challenges!
The design squad Mr.Buist have been doing is called Touchdown. The goal is to make an spacecraft that would have to land at your choice 1 ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft , 5ft, and 6ft. You will be scored by the condition of the Marshmallows(which will represent astronaut in your spacecraft), the condition of the craft it self, and how big of a crater you made in this thing that represents Gale Crater. Your score in the end will be multiplied by the feet dropped from.
The Spacecraft that won had no parachute! This was true because parachutes would add more weight which would cause the spacecraft to fall faster and be damaged. We had live-streamed the contest but its over already:P. Too bad you missed it!
