International Dot Day Celebration by Chloe

On September 15th-ish......
Our International Dot Day Celebration was a blast! We did spin art, watercolor dots, "ish" drawings, Dots sculpture, virtual spin art, bubble art and torn paper collages. We also got "dot-ish" candies and treats to snack on. Inspired by the books "The Dot" and "Ish"  both by Peter H. Reynolds, our celebration was all about creativity and making your mark on the world. Everybody was engaged and participating in all the  great centers there were to choose from. We had the freedom to move as we wished, which helped us learn to manage our time, and do a great job at each station. Overall we had a blast, and covered two walls in our artwork. The movie is a short clip of all the art on the walls. International Dot Day was incredible, and I hope we get to celebrate more small holidays in the Buist Bunch 2012-2013 year.
