My favorite activity to do at the beginning of the class is All-about-me baseball. There are different sentences from every kid that are rated single to home run about themselves. For instance, a single would be "I am wearing a yellow shirt." A double could be "I am a girl", an example for a triple could be "I have 3 cats" and home run could be "I have been to all fifty states".There are two teams that switch off, the batting team and the outfielders. The batting team is lined up and the outfielders are sitting down. The batter first in line chooses if they want to guess a single (easy), double (medium) triple ( hard) or home run (stalker). If they guess correctly the batter stay there unless it was a home run. Then, the team scores a point. the game continues for a while until you want to stop or all of the cards that had the sentences on them are gone. The team with the most points wins.
